The Mill at Gibsonville

The Mill at Gibsonville is another recent addition to downtown Gibsonville, and the biggest one I’ve seen yet. The mill building has been a part of Gibsonville for as long as anyone can remember- as a resident I remember it officially shutting down when I was a child.
Chris Smith who I met when I went there and Jim Smith have spearheaded an effort to refurbish the building while still keeping many of the original elements. Now the inside of the Mill is stunning, filled with interior decorations, artwork, jewelry and antiques.
Chris has gathered a group of talented friends around her to help her redecorate, gather material, and make material for the store.

They are just finishing up on refurbishing the back room.

The store is located at 136 Eugene Street, Gibsonville, NC 27249

(On my initial visit, I realized I was hearing live music coming from the back room- it turns out a band was practicing to perform in one of the neighboring stores the next weekend. Gibsonville has even more to offer than I guessed!)
